I earned my MBA from the University of Phoenix in technology management.
I grew up in New York City and attended both parochial elementary and high school in Manhattan. My parents were both born in Puerto Rico, so I was raised in a bilingual home, Spanish. My dad owned his barbershop, so I knew everyone around my neighborhood. My mom was a seamstress working for the ILGWU.
I've always participated in extracurricular activities throughout school from altar boy and crossing guard at St. Paul the Apostle elementary school to President of several committees and Drum Major Power Memorial Academy HS Marching Band. At Boston University I was an active member of both Varsity Football and Ice Hockey teams.
I met my wife Jackie on Cape Cod, and have been married for the past 43 years. We've lived in Texas for the past 37 years raising our family. We now have 2 adult sons and daughter along with one grandson.
