How To Have A Rich Life

How To Have A Rich Life

January 20, 2025

I work with the wealthy, the children of the wealthy, and the soon-to-be wealthy. Here’s what I’ve observed:

Many think making enough money will solve all their problems, improve relationships, and bring harmony at home. But that’s not always the case. Here’s why:

  1. Small Problems Become Big When money stress is gone, other issues take center stage. Minor annoyances can grow into major conflicts.

  2. Money Highlights Your True Self Money doesn’t change who you are; it reveals it. If you’re anxious, wealth can intensify those feelings. If you’re generous, it provides more opportunities to give. If you’re difficult, it can magnify that too.

  3. Friendships Evolve Wealth can create distance from old friends as lifestyles change. It’s not always easy to stay connected when priorities and experiences shift.

  4. Resentment Happens Even those closest to you might feel envious or resentful, sometimes despite your best intentions to help. Envy is a common but complicated emotion.

  5. Simple Pleasures Stand Out Wealth often brings complexity. Tasks like planning vacations or managing assets can feel overwhelming. In contrast, simple activities like folding laundry or washing your car can become moments of calm and enjoyment.

If you’re striving for success—whether it’s financial security, emotional fulfillment, or both—that’s a meaningful pursuit. Just keep in mind, true satisfaction often comes from focusing on personal growth and happiness after financial stability is achieved.

To have further discussions about this or future financial considerations let’s set up a preliminary consultation.
